The sector is growing fast. The admin is growing faster.

Solar, heat pumps, charging infrastructure: the work is there. Engineers and advisers are scarce, though, so every hour behind a laptop is an hour not spent with the client. Bravio builds one workspace from site survey to aftercare, made to fit how your company works.

Why now

The next two years change the game.

The work is there; capacity and the paperwork around it are the problem. Four developments landing on your desk right now.

Grid congestion

1 July 2026

Since 1 July 2026, small consumers in congestion areas join the waiting list for the electricity grid as well, Netbeheer Nederland reports. Some 15,000 companies are already waiting for transport capacity (MKB-Nederland). Every project now starts with one question: can the grid take this.

End of net metering

1 January 2027

The Dutch net metering scheme ends on 1 January 2027 (Rijksoverheid). Home batteries, self-consumption and energy management become the new demand. Your existing client base is the first market, provided your follow-up is in order.

Subsidy becomes paperwork

ISDE and SDE++

The ISDE has a smaller budget and stricter requirements in 2026, and SDE++ asks for heavier technical substantiation per application (RVO). Subsidy wins the deal, but only if your admin keeps up.

People are the bottleneck

67% report a shortage

According to the TechBarometer 2025, 67% of technical companies report a shortage of technicians. And failure costs at the installation companies surveyed run to over 6% of turnover (ECI Solutions). Every hour you win back goes straight into the van.

Sound familiar

The craft runs fine. The glue between it does not.

Recognise it? Then the problem sits around your craftsmanship rather than in it. More on this on our blog: The energy sector jams on admin, not on technology.

This is what your workspace looks like

From site survey to aftercare, in one flow.

One place for your clients, quotes, job sheets and follow-up. Talking instead of typing, and everything that goes out sits ready as a draft first. That way the office no longer runs behind the van.

1

Speak the site survey in on location

On the roof or at the meter cupboard you speak in what you see, with photos. The workspace structures it into a file: roof, meter cupboard, installation spot, pipe route.

2

The quote is ready

With the right parts, prices and wording in your style. You check it and send it. Nothing goes out without your approval.

3

Subsidy check in the same flow

The subsidy check and the application documents for your client sit ready right next to the quote. No separate track that gets left on a Friday afternoon.

4

Approved? Job sheet and planning follow by themselves

The order drops into the engineer planning and the digital job sheet appears on the engineer's phone. Hours and materials flow back into the post-calculation.

5

After handover, aftercare starts by itself

Maintenance follow-up and client follow-up run along automatically, with draft emails you only have to approve. That way you leave no revenue on the table after handover.

More than installation

For advisers and cooperatives too.

Energy advisory firms

Your certified calculation software simply stays where it is. Everything around it becomes one flow: you speak in the survey on location, the file per property fills itself, the tailored advice report sits ready as a draft in your house style, and the follow-up runs along automatically. Handy now that the next round of the Dutch energy saving reporting obligation is coming, with a deadline of 1 December 2027 (RVO).

Energy cooperatives

The Netherlands has 696 energy cooperatives with over 143,000 members and more than 9,000 volunteers, against just over 200 paid jobs (Lokale Energie Monitor 2025). Plenty of admin, few hands. One back office for members, projects and subsidy deadlines such as the SCE, with member communication sitting ready as a draft.

From the inside

We stand in the energy transition ourselves.

We write about the sector and we build in it. In 2024 at the Synergy Hackathon at TU Delft, and at the end of August on Vlieland.

Synergy Hackathon 2024 · The Green Village

48 hours of work on grid congestion, with 21 teams and real challenge owners. In our team Symbiotics we worked on decentralised, nature-inspired answers; challenge owner Alliander then invited the team to develop the idea further at their office in Arnhem. Watch the aftermovie.

Synergy Hackathon 2026 · Vlieland

From 25 to 27 August 2026 we are taking part in the new edition, theme Resilience by Design, within Into The Great Wide Open. What we bring: process discipline plus AI that demonstrably helps. Will you be there? Come and say hello. Read why we are going →

Frequently asked questions

What energy companies ask us.

Can this connect to our quoting or planning tool?

Yes. We do not simply replace everything. In the Blueprint we decide together which software stays, goes or gets connected. If your quoting tool or planning package works well, we build the workspace around it and only the retyping in between disappears.

Does it work in the van and on the roof?

Yes. The workspace is mobile and voice first: you speak a site survey, job sheet or thought into your phone and get actions, notes and drafts back. The office sees it immediately, without anyone having to write it up in the evening.

What if subsidy rules change?

Schemes such as the ISDE change almost every year. The system is yours and moves with them: we update the checks and the documents, without you having to wait for a software vendor's roadmap.

Is our data safe?

Your data sits in your own workspace and is exportable at all times. The AI only does low-risk, reversible work itself; everything that goes out sits ready as a draft first and leaves only with your approval. See also our privacy statement.

Start small, and seriously

The Blueprint first. Building after that.

In 1 to 2 weeks we map out where the hours leak away at your company: from site survey to post-calculation, from subsidy file to follow-up. You get a concrete build plan with an estimate of the saving in hours and euros. Build on with us afterwards and we offset €1,500.
